Welcome Home, Tommy!

This past weekend, my entire family travelled down to Virginia Beach to welcome home my brother Tommy from his tour on the USS Theodore Roosevelt! It was so heartwarming to see him reunited with his wife and daughter and it was wonderful to have our whole family together again!

Mike and my brother Brian were able to join Tommy for a three day Tiger Cruise from Jacksonville, Florida to Virginia Beach and they had a great time! Below is a link to the pictures Brian and Mike took aboard the ship, as well as all the welcome home and family pictures we took for the weekend. There are SO many good ones, but here are a few of my favs!

Thanks for your service, Tommy--we're so happy to have you home!

Mother's Day Contest

As many of you know, my mom is a three time cancer survivor. Well, Major League Baseball is sponsoring an Honorary Bat Girl contest for each MLB team, and I have entered her for a chance to win and be on the field at Yankee Stadium! If you could please take a few minutes to vote for her, we'd really appreciate it!

And please, send this link to your family and friends! Every vote counts--it only takes a second and you don't have to give your e-mail or information, just hit vote!

Look for the story about ".FightinPattiC." on the first page, read and hit vote!

2 Months Already!

I keep forgetting to post Abby's monthly pictures, but on the bright side, at least i remember to take them! Here are a few from her 2 month photo shoot! (Boy, she really looks like a red head in these pictures, huh?)

With her "My First Babydoll." She loves her!

Happy 1st Easter, Abby!

On April 12th, we celebrated Abby's First Easter, and boy did the Easter Bunny spoil her. She was pretty much oblivious to the happenings of the day, but of course, we enjoyed snapping many pictures of her anyway!

Look at all that Easter loot!
With Grandma and Grandpa Chapman

She's pretty excited about all these Easter gifts!

Posing with the chocolate "Grandbunny" from Grandma and Grandpa.
It's bigger than she is!

Easter Visit to the Dulkerian's!

The Saturday before Easter, Mike and I (and Abby, of course), made the trip to Clifton, Virginia to visit with Aunt Deb, Uncle Steve, Paige, Maggie, Amanda and Rob. Abby was a dream traveller both there and back, and she so enjoyed meeting her new Aunt, Uncle and Cousins. Below are some pictures from our trip!

2 Month Check-up

Abby had her two month check-up today, and her shots, so thankfully Mike and I made it a team effort and went together. She checked out perfectly, though the shots were hard to take for the entire family. I held her and Mike watched; Abby screamed. She only really cried while they were being given and then was a bit fussy, but was asleep before we even left the office. Our poor little baby :(

Abby's Weight: 12 lbs. 12 1/2 ozs. (90th percentile)

Abby's Height: 22 1/2 inches (50-75th percentile)

Head Circumference: 15 1/2" (50-75th percentile)

Thank God we don't have to go through this for two more months!

Abby Easter Pictures

I had a fun little photo shoot with Abby this week, but her real Easter pictures will be coming after this weekend :)

Baby Laughs

So, this actually happened to me. It was late one night, Abby was not sleeping well and had me up every hour or so. I had her on the changing table and was politely requesting that she stop crying and go to sleep, in order to save Mommy's sanity. Que her first smile :)
